ArtLights
- ArtLights made of Paper with particular durability, having different textures:
- Pressed paper, highly compressed, hard as wood.
- Handmade paper pulp, of my own composition, which is particularly durable.
- Translucent "Washi Paper" made from natural Mitsumata and Gampi fibers, of excellent quality and finesse.

Paper lights : "SEAGULL ISLANDS"
- Inspiration photo :
Seagull islands of Milos, Greece
- Inspiration: The Seagull islands of Milos, wich they characterized by their basaltic rock formations.
- The artlights "SEAGULL ISLANDS" are made of high-density compressed paper, as hard as wood, and they are painted with an anthracite-ecru patina.

Paper light : "ALATSI"
- Inspiration photo:
Natural salt pans, carved on the rocks of Crete.
- Inspiration : The "Alatsi", the virgin salt of Crete, crystallized in natural salt pans, which is a precious product. The Cretans cultivate these valuable private salt pans, carefully tending to the delicate process of salt production.
- The artlight "ALATSI" is made of Handmade Paper, glued on a cylindrical plexiglass.
It is painted with beige-grey patina and varnished to become waterproofed.
"ALATSI" creates excellent atmospheric lighting.

Paper light : "DRY SEAWEED"
- Inspiration : The dry seaweeds on the beaches, which play a valuable role in the protection of the coastal ecosystem.
- The artlight "DRY SEAWEED" are made of hard paper, cut into strips by hand. The strips are joined together, like lace. The paper has undergone extra 3-fold hardening, to make it particularly durable.
"DRY SEAWEED" is hand painted in grey-beige tones to look like natural dried seaweeds.
-Inside the "DRY SEAWEED", there is a protective Plexiglas cylinder, which completely isolates the paper construction from the lamp.

Paper light : "GOLDEN OLIVE"
- Inspiration photo :
- Inspiration : The Olive tree, which is the "gold" of the Greek land and the beauty of fallen leaves in automn, twhich create a golden perforated carpet.
-The artlight "GOLDEN OLIVE" is made with handmade olive leaves, made of hard paper, painted with golden shades.
Some leaves are folded making the surface more embossed. The golden leaves are mounted on a metal frame.

Paper light : "PROPELLER"
- Inspiration photo :
- Inspiration : The shipwrecks, which are scattered all over Greece. My favorite sculptural element of the wrecks, is the Propeller and this huge "Hole" in which they are contained.
- The artlight "PROPELLER" is made of high compression pressed paper, very durrable.
- The form is asymmetrical, with free openings. The surface is painted with a rust patina.

Paper light : "PIN"
- Inspiration photo :
- Inspiration : At the dress codes of Ancient Greeks, important element was the Pins used to hold and decorate the clothes. They usually made of ivory or gold.
I was inspired by the ivory Pins found in Mycenae.
- The artlight "PIN" features a natural wooden pin wich holds a paper shade made of "PURE".
-"PURE" is a material I created by combining the softest Greek Cotton Gauze, with the most precious Japanese "Washi Paper".
- This particular quality of "Washi Paper", is produced from Mitsumata and Gampi fibers.
Mitsumata fibers symbolise the "female element" and Gampi fibers the "male element".
From these noble fibers, is produced the most precious "Washi Paper", which is used exclusively in the preservation of ancient Makimono manuscripts, in Japanese calligraphy masterpieces and in important Ensō artworks.

Paper light : "RHYTHM"
- Inspiration photo :
- Inspiration: The fluting of ancient columns and their fascinating interplay with light.
- The artlight "RHYTHM" is made from PURE (Washi paper & gauze).
The "RHYTHM" has a free-form sculptural shape characterized by free-standing pleats of varying sizes and distances. Some pleats lean left or right and some stand vertical, creating a free rhythm of light and shadow.
The basic shape can be cylindrical, oval, or a free organic form.

Paper-fabric light : "WAVES"
- Inspiration : The natural waves, as well as the waves depicted in ancient mosaics and various forms of art, throughout the centuries.
- The artlight "WAVES" is made from overlapping strips of a special cotton fabric, with a high cellulose content, which behaves like paper.
The "WAVES" characterized by ripples and a unique pleated surface, that allows light to defusse.

Paper light : "GARLIC"
- Inspiration photo :
- Inspiration: The Garlic, an element of Greek folk tradition, against the "evil eye".
Garlic is a symbol of protection.
- The artlight "GARLIC" resembles a large clove of garlic, measuring 50cm in total
(32cm garlic + 18cm dry grass), with width 25.5cm.
"GARLIC" is semi-transparent, suitable for wall or table use.

Paper lights : "NESTS"

Paper Thistles
- Inspiration: The impressive nests of storks combined with my favorite element of Greek nature, the thistles.
- The artlights "NESTS" are made from several handmade big paper thistles,
woven into a glass chandelier, creating unique and striking nests.

Paper lights : "WEIGHTS Grey"
- Inspiration : The metal weights used on vintage balances, in Green-Grocery stores.
- The artlights "WEIGHTS - GREY" made of Coarse grain paper, creating the illusion of cement. Their surface is rough and slightly textured.
They come in all shades of grey, from concrete-grey, to charcoal or black.

Paper lights : "WEIGHTS White" - Semitransparent
- The artlights "WEIGHTS" made of white paper with a refined off-white hue.
They are semi-transparent, creating a warm ambiance when lit.
- Their minimalist aesthetic makes a statement when hung individually, and they create interesting compositions when they hunged in groups.

Paper lights : "OLD WEIGHTS"
- The artlights "AGED WEIGHTS" feature asymmetrical perforations and a distressed finish with cracks.
The effects of wear, oxidation, and salt deposit effects, created by acrylic paint patinas, giving each piece a unique style.
The perforated version emphasizes their ageing character.

Paper light : "EGG"
- Inspiration: The elegant eggs of pigeons.
The artlights "EGGS" are semi-transparent, in an off-white hue.
They are made for indoor use, like all paper lights. For outdoor use, they are treated with a matte varnish to make them waterproof.

Paper lights : "SPOTTED EGGS"
- Inspiration: The speckled eggs of wild birds, known for their camouflage.
- The artlights "SPOTTED EGGS" have an off-white color, painted with grey- beige patina. They are semi-transparent.

Paper light : "SUBMARINE"
- Inspiration: The famous Papanikolis sea cave, used as a base by the historical Greek submarine Papanikolis, during World War II.
The sea cave is located in Meganisi island, near Lefkada.
- The artlight "SUBMARINE" is made of paper pulp.
It has large size: 155 cm length x 20 cm width.

Paper lights : "CHURNS"
- Inspiration: Traditional wooden churns, once used in rural regions, to store milk, oil, or wine.
- The artlights "CHURNS" have a classic vase form, in "A" shape.
They are made from highly compressed paper pulp, which make them very durable.
"CHURNS" may be painted in any color and shade.

Paper lights : "RUSTY CHURNS"
- Inspiration: Traditional metal vats, which over time acquired damage, rust, and holes.
- The artlights "RUSTY VATS" are perforated with a textured surface.
They are made from highly compressed paper pulp and they are painted with acrylics to simulate rust.

Paper lights : "COLORED CHURNS"
- The artlights "COLORED CHURNS" have a fresh, modern style with a two-tone color scheme. The inner side is painted in vibrant colors such as green, turquoise or coral.
The combination of grey (outside) and a bold color (inside), creates a striking visual contrast, enhanced by the use of a colored fabric cord.

Paper lights : "COPPER CHURNS"
- Inspiration : The Traditional Greek Copper vessels, characterized by a two-colour combination : copper on the outside and gray-silver inside.
- The artlights "COPPER CHURNS" have an invert of that color scheme: they are painted copper on the inside and a grey on the outside, by using acrylic paints.
The custom made copper color, is highly reflective and resembles liquid metal.

Paper light : "BOX"
- Inspiration: The cardboard boxes, highlighting the importance of Recycling.
- The artlight "BOX" has a slightly Α-line flarted shape, with a rim at the bottom and a textured surface.
It's made of highly compressed paper pulp and has a color in natural twine hue.
The cable is also wrapped in the same color rope in twine hue.

Paper lights : "DISCS"
- Inspiration: Copper trays, which through a process called tinning, develop a two-tone appearance: copper on the outside and a gray-silver inside.
- The artlights "DISCS" have an inverted color scheme: they are painted in copper color on the inside and in black on the outside, using acrylic paints.
The "DISCS" have large size, resembling large baking trays, with a diameter of 80 cm and they are made of highly compressed paper pulp.

Paper light : "SKY"
- Inspiration: A sky filled with clouds, often resembling tufts of cotton.
- The artlight "SKY" is made of paper and cotton. It has a primitive surface reminiscent of clouds and is semi-transparent.
It's a large hemisphere, that matches perfectly with crumpled linen of "Ghost" sofas,
or in spaces decorated with primitive elements, like aged wood.
The "SKY"' creates an interesting contrast with industrial concrete walls.
The artlight "SKY" is also impressive when it is painted gold, on the inner surface.

Paper lights : "PYRAMIDS"
- Inspiration: The Pyramids of Greece are not widely known.
They are sacred places with truncated pyramid shapes (without the pointed top of a pyramid).
They have been found in Syros, Ithaca, Astros of Kynouria, Vathy of Avlida, and Epidaurus.
The most famous is the "Pyramid of Elliniko" in Argos, 70 meters high, build at 4th century B.C.
- The artlights "PYRAMIDS" have also truncated pyramid shapes and they are perforated.
Each side has a different and irregular trapezoidal shape. They are made from highly compressed paper pulp.

Paper light : "MOON"
- Inspiration photo :
- Inspiration: The famous August Moon over the Acropolis of Athens.
- The artlight "MOON" has an off-white color and an impressive size. Its spherical shape interacts beautifully with natural light, highlighting both its volume and the unique texture of its surface.
When it's lit, the "MOON" conveys the sensation of enjoying the view of a moon, bringing an outdoor experience, indoors.
